Over the weekend, we attended the 12th Rally Liptov, where we proudly supported the team of M. Slamčík – T. Pivovarníček, who competed this year in Class 7 driving a Honda Civic Type-R FN2. The rally at Liptov featured one of the fiercest battles in Class 7, as all crews had equal chances of taking the title. This legendary event once again confirmed its challenging nature, highlighted by tough conditions, treacherous November morning asphalt, and numerous retirements. Fortunately, we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather throughout both days.
However, our driver will hold a vivid memory of Liptov due to two unfortunate tire punctures during the second section. With only one spare tire, they had to battle through the Huty, Osádka, and Bežan stages with a flat until they reached the final service in Ružomberok, where we replaced their tires, allowing them to get back up to speed. The tension and stress finally faded away at the finish ramp in Liptovský Mikuláš's town square, where Miro and Tadeáš received their well-deserved trophies for first place in Class 7. We warmly congratulate the crew on winning the MSR and MMSR titles and wish them great success in the upcoming 2025 season.
